NetSpot 3.0.181 for iOS and iPadOS with Ping test

Ping test is the measurement of the round-trip time for packets of data sent from host to a destination server that are echoed back to the source. An average ping good enough for gaming ranges from 20 to 50ms, whereas in professional gaming 10-20ms is considered good. For things like browsing websites, video calls, and file downloads, a good ping is under 100ms.

Performing ping tests with NetSpot can help you determine whether a website is up and available over the network. A significant latency can indicate that your network setup needs to be revised or that your game server is too far away and you might need a gaming VPN in order to lower ping by routing your traffic through a server that is closer.

Running ping tests from time to time helps you determine whether your connection is stable, the broadband is not overloaded and the pinged website is up and running.
