Included with each NetSpot license purchase before August 19, 2026 are free minor updates, bug fixes and dedicated support via email. If you have purchased NetSpot after August 19, 2026, your purchase or subscription includes free minor and major updates, bug fixes and dedicated support via email. If you have a question about licensing before or after your purchase, please contact NetSpot support and we will do our best to assist you.
Minor versions are designated by a change in the version numbers to the right of the decimal point (e.g. changing from 4.0 to 4.1). If your order was placed before August 19, 2026 and contained Lifetime Upgrades, you get all future major upgrades for free. Major upgrades are designated by a change in the version number to the left of the decimal point (e.g. changing from 4.1 to 5.0).
You can check the version of NetSpot on your computer by launching the application and then going to NetSpot > Check for Updates at the top menu bar. You can also stay on top of the latest NetSpot update news by following our blog.
