We know that many of you were waiting for the news about NetSpot 3, and we’re happy to deliver some really good ones. NetSpot 3 is released for Windows and macOS – new features, new possibilities, and the much anticipated Predictive (aka Planning) mode!
Here’s the full list of updates in this major version:
macOS
- added Redesigned user interface for an outstanding user experience
- added Predictive Wi-Fi surveys: Planning of future Wi-Fi networks with an all-new extensive toolbox, including simulative installation of well-known wireless router brands, space layout creation with standard building materials, etc.

- improved Faster scanning in Survey mode
- improved 5x faster heatmap generation for multiple heatmap types and project sizes
